2. An eraser

How To Draw A Woodpecker

Let's start this step by step drawing journey!

Step 1 :

Draw a circle for the head. Also, draw a large one oval for the body.

Step 2 :

Refine your work as done in step 2. You are doing great.

Step 3 :

Now smartly draw a long, L-shaped line under the body for the tail.

Step 4 :

Sketch a short, L-shaped line under the body as given in the step by step drawing tutorial. The tail is complete. you did it very well.

Step 5 :

In this step for how to draw a woodpecker, you need to remove the extra line to get a good sketch.

Step 6 :

Draw the little curve for the beak as given in the picture. sketch a curvy line on the lower right side of the body as guides in the picture tutorial. Draw a curved line inside the body to get the top part wings.

Step 7 :

Draw the eye socket. Sketch an angled triangle on the right side of the head to make a beak. Complete the wing as guides in the woodpecker's picture tutorial. And also complete the feet by using the same step. You  can do it!

Step 8 :

Draw a pupil in the eye socket. Draw a line in the beak and curve in the tail as given in step 8. Sketch the sparky lines in feet as guides in the image.

Step 9:

Draw the lower portion of the woodpecker's folded wing. Add the quick, short stroke under the eye and at the left side of the top portion wing.

Step 10 :

In the last step, add the curves in the tail and top portion wing as a guide in the drawing tutorial. Also, add more sharp strokes under the eye and upside of the eye as instructed. Nice!

Step 11 :

Paint the woodpecker in black. But the color of the feet and beak is yellow. But you can paint them as you want.
